Pearson’s correlation method is used to identify the correlation between female literacy rate and child sex ratio. The result of the study reveals that there is a wide disparity in the spatial distribution of caste-based female literacy rate and child sex ratio in the Alipurduar district. The study shows that the correlation between the caste-based female literacy rate and the child sex ratio is not equal.
