Abstract: In this article, an attempt has been made to explore the concept of environmental protection and wildlife conservation particularly wild animals in Kuno National Park. Human exploitation of natural resources has degraded the environment, endangered certain animal species, and damaged the ecosystem to a certain extent. Thus, the initiatives taken at the local levels to preserve the environment and protect wild animals are the focal concern of the study with the help of contributions made by the Madhya Pradesh Government, Indian legislature, and judiciary. Further, this study also focuses on the issues and challenges related to environmental protection and wildlife conservation in Kuno National Park.
