Abstract: Sirohi district in Rajasthan is well known for its goat husbandry practices, particularly the Sirohi breed, which is highly valued for its adaptability to arid conditions. However, challenges such as land degradation, water scarcity, and dwindling fodder resources threaten the sustainability of goat farming in the region. This paper examines the importance of natural resources management (NRM) in ensuring sustainable goat husbandry. By integrating improved grazing practices, water conservation techniques, and agroforestry, NRM can enhance productivity and resilience among goat farmers in Sirohi. Natural resources management plays a critical role in ensuring the sustainability of goat husbandry in Sirohi district, Rajasthan. By adopting integrated approaches, such as sustainable grazing practices, water conservation, and fodder management, farmers can mitigate resource depletion and enhance livestock productivity. Policy support, community participation, and technological interventions are essential to achieving long-term sustainability in goat farming. Future research and investments in adaptive strategies will further strengthen the resilience of goat farmers in the region.
