Deaths and disappearances on migration journeys in the decade: An analysis (2014-2023)

Abstract: This study used an ANOVA to analyse the regions wise and year wise number of death and disappearances at global level from from the year 2014 to 2023. The ANOVA findings demonstrated a substantial difference in number of death amongst the chosen countries. An analysis of the descriptive statistics of death and disappearances that the issue is prevalent among all selected regions. Notable regions such as the Mediterranean, Asia and Africa have significantly increased number of death during migration throughout the study period.
